Grass & Roots Coffee

Grass & Roots blends the worlds of rugby culture and specialty coffee into a space where stories are exchanged, friendships are formed, and everyone feels part of something bigger. It’s a culture grounded in authenticity, teamwork, and the simple joy of great coffee.

Working closely with Ben Spencer, Bath Rugby Captain and England Scrum Half, we built a brand that reflects the two worlds that shaped it. The identity is crafted around the idea of merging graft with craft. Bold, grounded rugby energy meeting the refined artistry of exceptional coffee. 

To bring this to life, we developed bespoke illustrations, a visual language inspired by the rhythm of the game and the ritual of brewing. The packaging extends this story, tactile, characterful, and designed to feel at home in both a clubhouse and any specialty coffee shop.
